Mechanical Technician


In this role, you will play a crucial part in the building of complex automation machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fit and assemble mechanical components based on provided drawings.
  • Conduct precise setups of mechanical equipment.
  • Build and wire electrical panels following electrical schematics.
  • Perform soldering tasks for connectors and PCBs.
  • Ensure efficient organization of project materials, workspace, and workflow.
  • Install and configure equipment at customer sites.
  • Uphold high standards of build quality.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering teams.
  • Adhere to all relevant quality standards including Revision Control and Documentation procedures.
  • Participate in Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Modifying equipment enclosures using power and hand tools
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
  • Be prepared to travel and work extended hours during busy periods.
  • Fill other duties as directed by the Team Lead.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a factory environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrate hands-on work experience is essential.
  • Some exposure to Milling, Turning, drilling, or electrical work is advantageous but not mandatory.

  • Proficiency in interpreting 2D/3D electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Customer orientated mindset.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
  • Capable of meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Trustworthy & efficient in all tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make responsible & effective decisions.
