Technical Sales Engineer

We have an exciting career opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our busy business development team. This opening has arisen due to our growing sales pipeline. The successful candidate will support in the delivery of competitive proposals. They will do this by meeting with the internal engineering teams to understand the customer needs and translating these needs into accurate quotations.

Responsibilities:

Proposal Development:

  • Develop proposals and costings for customer projects:
  • Evaluating Customer requirements through review of URS/EDS documents or other request for quote documents
  • Assisting with the development of concepts for new proposals
  • Aid the engineering teams in the development of concepts generated from customer
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure quotes and proposals meet customer requirements
  • Writing the detailed description of the equipment being proposed
  • Attend design reviews, customer meetings etc

Deliverables:

  • Deliver on agreed sales target
  • Maintain ERP system with all relevant data and updates
  • Reporting on commercial updates for sales meeting
  • Accurate proposals delivered on time

Experience:

  • 1+ years in a technical sales role/or equivalent
  • Ability Interpret URS/Requirements documents
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor/Solidworks (Advantage)
  • Previous Customer Exposure (Advantage)
  • Automation Experience (Advantage)
