Key Account Manager

The role of the Key Account Manager is to build and develop business with our existing customer base and new strategic accounts . You will be responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining key customers by understanding their requirements and building strong customer relationships to deliver on agreed sales targets. The overall goal is to contribute to developing existing and develop new business.

Location: Shannon, Ireland


• Identify opportunities to grow business with existing and new customer base
• Achieve agreed sales targets for Ireland and International US customers
• Maintain a high-level market and customer product knowledge to help achieve sales targets
• Leverage sales tools to ensure opportunities identified are aligned with our business strategy
• Demonstrate expert skill level with customer facing responsibilities, critical thinking, analysis, planning and execution
• Develop a roadmap for increasing sales with our existing and new customer base
• Build and strengthen relationships with key customers and stakeholders
• Develop and maintain a collaborative approach with your team colleagues and wider business teams
• Work with our engineering teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Build) to develop bespoke solutions for our customers
• Talk to our customers to understand their manufacturing challenges and gain a deep understanding of what solution they require
• Qualify sales enquiries from existing customer base to ensure they are a fit for our business
• Develop accurate competitive proposals and present the proposal to our customers
• Provide commercial handover to the business
• Travel Required


Experience & Qualifications:
• 3+ years’ experience in an engineering sales role (B2B sales)
• Account Management Experience
• Engineering / Business qualification (desirable)
