Electronics Engineer

Role

This role will report directly to the Controls Department Manager and will manage our LED Lab which will include the build and test of our LED modules along with leading the development of new designs. You will be responsible for managing current vendors and the development of a network of preferred vendors.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering
  • 2+ years’ experience as an Electronics Engineer
  • Experience working with the development of LED products (desirable)
  • Experience in a customer facing role would be a distinct advantage
  • Full Drivers Licence as travel will be required

Responsibilities:

Manage the LED lab

  • Build and test LED Modules
  • Lead the development of LED projects,

New Development

  • Lead interaction with our key suppliers of components / LED panels / PCBs
  • Lead electronic PCB development, proof of principles and R&D
  • Create test plans, execute tests, record and present results to the team and customer

Spares management

  • Assess LED modules and panels returned for repair, order parts from supplier, manage stock of LEDs etc.
