This role will report directly to the Controls Department Manager and will manage our Electronic PCB’s Lab which will include the build and test of our PCB & modules along with leading the development of new designs. You will be responsible for managing current vendors and the development of a network of preferred vendors.


  • Degree in Electronics Engineering
  • 2+ years’ experience as an Electronics Engineer
  • Experience working with the development of LED products (desirable)
  • Experience in a customer facing role would be a distinct advantage


Manage the Electronic lab

  • Verify and test Electronic PCBs
  • Build and test LED Modules
  • Lead the development of new electronic projects,
  • Develop and test Micro Controller firmware for testing and calibration

New Development

  • Lead interaction with our key suppliers of components / PCBs / Microcontroller Firmware / LED panels
  • Lead electronic PCB development, proof of principles and R&D
  • Develop and maintain micro controller firmware’s
  • Create test plans, execute tests, record and present results to the team and customer

Spares management

  • Assess electronic modules and panels returned for repair, order parts from supplier, manage stock of electronic components, test equipment, etc
  • Create test plans, execute tests, record and present results to the team and customer spares management
